In Pages 5.5.3, why this message when attempting to open a document, "The required index.xml file is missing?" It opened all documents in the past, but now get this message in Pages and Numbers.
I get the exact same message ever since I installed Yosemite. Am starting to really regret that!!!
Pages v5 documents do not have an index.xml document within them, and Pages '09 documents do. You will only get this message if you double-click a Pages v5 document with Pages '09 running. Quit Pages '09, then double-click the .pages document icon to open it in Pages v5.
