My iPhone 6 isn't being recognized by itunes

I've tried reinstalling itunes, restarting my computer, my phone. I even wiped my phone on my macbook.

The computer is windows 8. Everything is up to date, windows and iTunes and the iPhone.

When i run the itunes diagnostic with my phone plugged in it says it can't find a device.

When i plugin my phone a popup comes up on the phone asking if i want to trust the computer and i always touch trust.

This has been occuring for about a month now.

here is what was returned by the diagnostic:

I've went through the article twice now. removed all usb devices except my mouse and keyboard and uninstalled all things I wasn't absolutely sure were fine from the uninstall program, then restarted and still no luck.

To clarify, my phone shows up under portable devices in the device manager, but that is all. Itunes shows no sign of recognizing the phone.
Meanwhile my macbook is able to recognize it fine, which was how I wiped the phone to see if that would help.

All of my media is on my windows machine, so I need to use it for syncing.

So any other suggestions?

(p.s. I have Apple Care, I just don't feel like calling them and waiting on the phone for 20+ minutes.)
