How to you retrieve hidden.missing folders. I didn't hide it intentionally. The apps are still on the phone but only accessible through search (with the missing folder name associated).

Not sure what I did, but one of my folders is AWOL. I know that I put my phone in my pocket and had left the screen on because hen I pulled the phone out of my pocket, the icons were wiggling and the folder was missing. The apps are still on the phone but can only be accessed through the search function. In the search result, the folder name that is missing ("Travel") is still associated with the app. I only have one screen of apps (all in folders), so the folder is definitely not on another screen. I took another existing folder and pulled some of the apps out to force a second screen to see if the folder was on the second screen but it wasn't. I also tried creating a new folder with the same name (travel) in the hope that it would bring in the missing apps into the "travel" folder. I tried rebooting the phone with the new "travel" folder. Nothing.

I tried rebooting the phone a couple of times but the folder is still AWOL.

I ended up deleting one of the apps that I knew was in missing folder and reinstalled the app. When the app installed, it made the missing folder visible again inside another folder (it definitely was not visible before I did this). Once the app downloaded, I moved the found folder back to the home screen. I deleted the app by going to Settings > General > Usage. Waited for the information under the "Storage" section to load. Tapped on it, then tapped "Delete App" on the next screen.
