Home button not working after water damage, am I covered under warranty?

Yesterday I dropped my iPhone 5S into water and everything is going fine except for two issues; my home button is completely unresponsive and voice control keeps coming up and calling my friends - to which I then have to struggle to stop. I bought my phone in February/March and I took out an extra apple care warranty for the price of around £80. Does anyone know if this covers water damage? Any help at all would be appreciated.

Thank you!

iPhone 5s, iOS 8.2

warranty is a system not in the power of apple it's the laws of your country

the point of warranty is to protect the buyer from a product malfunctioning because of a defect in the production not discovered until the product was in the hands of the buyer, dropping it in water or on the floor is not a malfunction in that respect
