Hi, it's about 1 week that i experienced several minutes opening my project in MainStage 3. Two weeks ago MS3 opened file in a few seconds, but now it take several minutes. After opening, all is ok, but i would resolve this problem.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
Do you have a concert with a lot of samples in them?
My concert contains about 30 samples distributed in 5 patches.
30 sample files are nothing. Or do you mean 30 instruments with samples? That can be potentially a lot. Are you using AudioUnits with sample libraries?
30 sample file, but there is a strange fact: if i save that concert with function "save as" with another file name, the first time i open the file is at good speed, but only the first time. From the second, third and so on is very slow.
Well i think to have resolved problem.
I started deleting every single patch and reload the concert after this. Only one patch caused the problem. Specifically i isolated a single sample playback whose tempo time was different with respect the other (29 bpm vs 135!). I reloaded the correct sample with correct bp and now all is ok!
I don't know why sample bpm changed ten days ago, because a i didn't modified the file.
