MacBook Air
you can do tha same as you do to delete from iPhone where you drag to the right and select then delete.
Do you know how to delete it permanently?
Yes when you delete Them they are gone.
It doesnt work.
Are you talking about the "Delete" part? Not sure about swiping to delete them. On my Mac (running OS x Mountain Lion), I hover over the name of the person in the sidebar, and click on the little "x" that displays in the upper right-hand corner.

There are multiple people under my Apple ID account, so I think that might be the problem. I want to figure out how to stop the messages from being received to my Mac. There are no problems with the other phones getting messages that were forwarded from other phones; just the MacBook.
You can turn off Messages altogether on the Mac. Is that what you are looking to do? If so, open the Messages app, click on Messages>Preferences>Accounts, and then on Sign Out.
