May 24, 2015 11:27 AM in response to poikkeus1by Cascomix,Hi,
Thank you for your response. I recorded a couple of You Tube videos. It took a couple of tries to get sound. One more question, Is there a way to transfer what I record to a dvd disc? I have Quicktime version 10.3 and don't see a way to do it. Is it possible on a newer version of Quicktime?

May 24, 2015 11:46 AM in response to Cascomixby poikkeus1,This needs to be done in a series of steps.
1. Download YTD, a program that allows you to export YouTube streams to your computer desktop. http://www.ytddownloader.com/mac/ It can be used free or paid.
2. Using YTD's instructions, download the clips you need.
3. Download Toast, which is (as you probably know) is a paid application. http://www.roxio.com/enu/products/toast/titanium/
However, you can acquire it through package discounts, or by searching on eBay.
4. Since you want to burn a DVD, I assume you have a burner already. Using Toast, drop the video segments on the desktop, and burn them as Video.
In other words, Quicktime probably isn't the best tool for what you want to do. But Toast is ideally suited.
