In 'find my iPhone' - Is there a way to adjust the position on the map?

Sorry I'm not sure what community to post this to. I Have just checked find my iPhone to see where my iPad is shown and I am at home. However, my iPad is shown on the map outside a house two doors away. Can I adjust this? The same thing happens with other apps that use my location.
