Q: How to identify an unknown speech app Yosemite 10.10.3

I have an app that has become activated on my iMac running OS 10.10.3. It appeared after I touched the keyboard to wake the mac. I found what looks like an accessibility app running. I can't figure out what the app is and it is maddening. It speaks and is always on the desktop. The voice speed is too fast for me to believe it is an Apple product which is disturbing.  I am the only user. I tried a restart. I checked the activity monitor - can't id anything obvious.

Is there an equivalent to the old "start up" folder? How can I id it? Any suggestions? Here is a screen shot:Screen Shot 2015-05-24.png
