where is the right click on favorites bar gone in latest safari version?

Safari version 8.0.6 on Yosemite 10.10.3 MacPro

Earlier safari versions allowed to add a favorite-folders by clicking the right-mouse button at the favorites bar.

I can't believe I now have to go to favorites menu, create a new folder, the new folder appears at the end of the favorites list (most distant point from what is shown in the favorites bar), move the new folder by drag&drop up to the top (drop it in some other folder - by accident several times - and don't find it again) and start over again.

Any suggestions how to get a good usability on this topic?

Thanks a lot!

Mac Pro (Late 2013), OS X Yosemite (10.10.3), favorites usability on Safari 8.0.6
