Q: iLife on used MBP Late 2011

Hello together,

i bought an used MBP Late 2011. Unfortuanelly i recognized that there are no iLife products like iMovie installed. Also, i didnt receive any cd/dvd from the seller where i could find the programms. My only option is to buy for example iMovie in the Appstore.... Do i have to buy all these programs or is their an other option for me to get the iLife products for free?
