have an ipad mini(1st gen) i've been charging my ipad over night for over 2 months.And now its battery timing is too short about 1 hour on fully charged plxx tell me why it is happening plxxxxxxx.

The first gen iPad in general is a couple of years old now so it's possible that your battery is simply dying a natural death. Run times get shorter with age. If you have an apple store near by I'd suggest that you make an appointment and take it in and have it checked out.

You are saying that the iPad was about 3 or 4 months old when you bought it. If you bought this iPad Mini second hand, you have no idea how the previous owner was using it. They may have poorly maintained the device which could cause battery degradation.
