Problem with project transfer

Please verify the version on the newer Mac via the FCP menu Final Cut Pro>About Final Cut Pro.

Are you sure it says "projects or events"???

There are no separate projects or events since 10.1, so this message is meaningless, I would even say surreal...

WWhat is Dorset Break 2015 exactly?

I created a library and project in 10.2 and then switched to 10.2.1 to try to open. Here is the error message I got.

I don't get that. I get the library must be updated. If you have plugins created for 10.2.1 and open create a library using 10.2 with those plugins loaded in the application, you might get a strange result.

WWell, one major difference is my error only mentions libraries. Nothing about projects and events.

Russ, are sure it was not the other way around?! - I would expect that message if a library were created in 10.2.1 and then trying to open it in 10.2.

(no older version in my mac right now, but will try later on my kids' imac, which has not been updated)

HEy Luis. Absolutely correct. I wrote the reverse of what I intended. Created linrary in 10.2 and opened in 10.2.1. (Now I understand Tom's post.)

It will help clarify things a lot if you answer Tom's question.

Probably the best way to do that is to select "dorset Break 2015" in the Finder, do Command-I to open the Get Info window and post a screenshot of that here.
