The home screen on my iPod 5 16 gb looks like zoom has been turned on and the keypad is so large that when I try to enter code and then swipe over to other numbers I have to touch other numbers so the code is always wrong. Rebooting does nothing, both with just power button and with power button and home screen button.

First
Zoom in or out. With Zoom turned on, double-tap the screen with three fingers.

Next restore via iTunes. The iOS device will be erased. Place the iOS device in Recovery Modeif necessary to allow the restore.
If recovery mode does not work try DFU mode.

I can't zoom in or out, I can't do any function, nor can I pinch the screen.
Have you tried restoring like I also suggested?
I just zoomed out with 3 fingers like you said. Now I'm going to try to restore via iTunes. What could have caused this?
Usually just a software glitch
iTunes says it will only restore calendar, contacts, etc. not firmware? I don't know how to get to recovery mode.
