Ken burns and time line problem

Hi all

two problem to solve

1) ken burns on imovie 10.0.8

I'm not able to find the ken burns effect on Imovie. I follow this indication http://help.apple.com/imovie/mac/10.0.8/#/movc6e02f503 but when I choose cut there's not any stile to choose. (mac book pro late 2012 - OsX yosemite 10.10.3). Where I can find it?

2) Time line: when I scroll my clip and I place a mark I'm not able to understand which is the time of the mark (how many seconds from the start to the clip?)

Ty and sorry for my english

Eryn75,

I am having the same issue. Gary Scotland said, "The Apple Help document is accurate and straightforward." Yes it is, however, it doesn't solve the problem.

Here is a 14 second video that illustrates the problem. https://vimeo.com/131735512

As you can see, I did exactly what the Apple Help document told me to do, but there is no Ken Burns Effect available. I tried this with a still image as well as with a video clip - and neither one has the Ken Burns Effect as an option.

Does anyone know why?
