Q: Mac No Bootable Device

Whenever I try to start up my mac I get No Bootable Device -- Insert boot disk and press any key I tried to use Alt during startup but that didn't work and I Also tried Command Alt P R but that also didn't work either. Any Help?

Please post back once you have it diagnosed. Curious what the issue is/was so I can tackle it in the future.

No need to take into Genius Bar, waste of time. Half of the don't know what they are doing and will take twice the time compared to you doing it yourself.

Press ALT or ALT+R  and hold it after power on. Select Disk Utility. Attempt to restore the whole drive. This method will most likely fail, so, erase all drives. Reboot. ALT / ALT+R after powering on and selecting recovery hd, or mount apple base system partition to install base os x tools such as disk utility and os x installer tool if you do not see this option.

you do need a valid internet connection in order to proceed with downloading os x base image from apple server.
