iPhone 5s iOS 8 Restoring To iOS 8.1 With iTunes NOT WORKING!
I have been trying to restore my iPhone 5s Model A1533 to iOS 8.1 from iOS 8.0 for the past 8+ hours, but I am still failing.
I have also been trying to do this with a windows 7 pc and a macbook pro.
- Macbook pro: Yosemite 10.10.3; iTunes 12.1.2.27
- PC: Windows 7; iTunes 12.1.2.27
- iPhone 5s: iOS 8.0; Factory reset; Model A1533
- Firmware I'm trying to resore iPhone with: iPhone6,1_8.1_12B411_Restore.ipsw
- Macbook pro iTunes restore error: "This device isn't eligible for the requested build"
- Windows 7 PC iTunes restore error: "3194"
- I have the latest versions of iTunes on all of my computers.
- Port forwarded port 80 and 443 TCP
- All antivirus and firewalls disabled
- iPhone 5s in iTunes recovery mode when plugged into computers
- Hosts file in all computers have # in front of apple gs # 74.208.10.249 gs.apple.com
- I did this on terminal on my mac dscacheutil -flushcache
- Rebooted wifi router and modem
- Rebooted both computers
- Rebooted iTunes
- Used ethernet cable connected to windows pc and router
- Disabled safari automatic unzipping
Please help me.
