Changing the names of mp3s in itunes to match filenames

I have added a bunch of mp3 files to itunes. The problem is that the names in itunes does not match the filenames. Is there a way I can select these files and have their itunes names match their filenames?

iTunes uses information embedded in mp3s as tags to generate the information you see. It is only if there is no information embedded that iTunes will name the track by file name. If you are seeing incorrect information you can use a script from the Dougscripts web site to rename tracks according to file name. I will let you search for the exact one but it there and relatively easy to use.
