After installing windows 7 through bootcamp, the windows software doesn't recognize the usb port. Is there any way to fix this?

After installing Windows 7 through bootcamp on the iMac, the Windows software doesn't recognize the USB port. Is there any way to fix this?

iMac, OS X Mavericks (10.9.5), Windows 7

Yes. Do you have a network connection? If yes, then download the zip file appropriate for you Mac from System requirements to install Windows on your Mac via Boot Camp - Apple Support and Boot Camp: Solve Windows support software installation problems or Boot Camp: Install or repair Boot Camp drivers.


If the matrix says BCA, you will need to boot into OS X and download drivers to a USB2 flash disk. Do not use USB3 devices.


The silent BC drivers installation may have failed. You will have to use Windows Safe Mode and update BC drivers which are obtained using either method.
