effects check box does not work

effects check box does not work

When i select a clip in the timeline the check box in the inspector for effects will not bring up the color options, They do not appear at all. Under any circumstances I can create,

Final Cut Pro X, iOS 8.3

WWhat version are you using? Currently Color Correction is an effect added from the Color category of the Effects Browser

I am using version 10,2. My inspector only shows the box effects, there is nothing under the box. I am following the user guide At one time I was able to use the color effects on my Final Cut pro X.
