I have photos saved from email on a 32 GB flash drive. When I pull them up and open it on the nonMac laptop, the photos are there. When I plug the flash drive into my Mac, it is empty. Can you help?

If they are a recognizable format like .jpg, .jpeg, .gif, for example. A Mac will not be able to read a drive that is not formatted properly: HFS+, FAT32, NTFS, ExFAT.
Some Flash drives may have encryption installed so that only the computer that installed the encryption software on the drive can read the contents. Make sure that is turned off before taking it to the other machine. Normally this is done at the time of formatting, the putting on of encryption software.
