Syncing Music

I've tried syncing a playlist to my watch...very unsuccesfully...simple instructions but nothing happens. Can I pair a bluetooth to my watch so I don't have to take my phone on my run?

Hey mauidream54,

I can understand any frustration that you might have when trying to get music on your Apple Watch. You should be able to add up to 1gb of songs on your Apple Watch by default. I would make sure that you are not going over that limit and you can change the amount of storage up to 2 Gb if needed. Take a look at the first article to walk you through adding that and changing the settings. To answer your second question about pairing Bluetooth headphones, take a look at the second link and it will have a section just for that pairing process so you can listen to music without it streaming from your iPhone.

Does playing your music from your Watch ever update your play count/last played? I got the music synced (it does take forever), but playing it doesn't seem to sync that data back to the phone or iTunes. I use play count and last played ALL the time for smart play lists. (And syncing a smart list does work, it'll re-sync the next time you put the watch on the charger if the list changed.)
