I have just downloaded icloud for my PC. I tried to log in using my Apple ID but it will not accept it though it is a valid Apple ID
I downloaded iCloud for my PC. It won't let me log in with an Apple ID, though it says the ID is valid

You cannot create an iCloud account on a Windows computer. You can only do so on a Mac or an iOS device; once that's done you can sign into the account on your Windows PC.
