My iPhone 6 was stolen on my honeymoon abroad and then recovered (I bought it back from whom I'm pretty sure was the thief). But the phone was reset to factory settings. My photos were gone, and they were not backed up on iCloud. Is there an app I can use to try and recover deleted photos from the hard drive of the phone?

Do a Google search. There are companies that claim they can recover data, but it might be expensive and perhaps a futile exercise in the end.
Has anyone used a third party App to recover photos after a factory reset on an iPhone?
