My iPhone 5, which is fairly new, suddenly turned off while I was using it and I had full battery. I've had it plugged into my charger for an hour and I've also tried holding the home and lock buttons at the same time for at least a minute but the screen just stays blank. The apple logo doesn't even come out. Has this happened to anyone and if so, how do I fix it?

So it sounds as if your iPhone will not power on at all - that is there is no sound and nothing on the display - is that right? Let's see if we can get you back up and running.
