May 26, 2015 10:01 AM in response to KiltedTimby TooDarkPark,YOU ARE WRONG. You no don't have to do that with an iPhone 6+. You don't even have to restore beginning with the iPhone 5. Are you telling me that Apple instructions are wrong?
They worked for me when I unlocked my 5+ and 6+. I unlocked my T-Mobile 5+ and 6+ and all I had to do was insert the AT&T sim, enter my icloud ID and password and my phone was instantly unlocked.
Stop telling me I am wrong. The instructions are right on Apples website. I pasted the twice above. You are WRONG.

May 26, 2015 1:10 PM in response to KiltedTimby TooDarkPark,Ok, ONE more time:
The OP ALREADY has a sim card that they want to use on T-Mobile. The phone has been unlocked to use on another carrier. AT&T has already unlocked the OPS phone for use on another carrier. Again, they already have the sim card for use on T-Mobile. Since they already have the sim card, they follow the first two steps listed here:
If you have a SIM card from a carrier other than your current carrier, follow these steps:
- Remove your SIM card and insert the new SIM card.
- Complete the setup process.
If you don't have another SIM card you can use, follow these steps to complete the process:
- Back up your iPhone.
- When you have a backup, erase your iPhone.
- Restore your iPhone from the backup you just made.
If you read here, it clearly says that if they don't have the sim card for the other carrier, then a restore is requied. Do you understand now?
I can't make it any clearer for you.
