"Hbo now" Is not available in my region!

As far as I can see the HBO Now app is not available in the Korean store - what country did you have on your account when you downloaded it, and were you in that country at the time ?

I Am having the same issues with my HBO now account but I live in Anaheim Hills, ca it says video not available in your region. I deleted app reinstalled it. Powered down phone, signed out of HBO, nothing works. Checked my settings on my phone it says USA. Any suggestions?

I reset my network settings and it resolved it for me. Go into Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings.

I'm in North Carolina, btw. Not out of country.

I am getting the message "video not available in your region" but I am in Orange, CA.. it worked fine yesterday. I see someone in Anaheim Hills is having the same problem. Maybe an ISP issue? I just know I want to watch a show and I can't. Very annoying.

Doesnt work and I'm in North Carolina as well. I believe my ip is being recognized as non u.s. 172. I've had a similar issue with web servers not allowing non u.s. Visitors. Since my ip has changed I am unable to use HBO Now.

Interesting. Same problem for me. I am in Orange CA with TWC. Problem started last night. Might be a local or TWC issue.

I emailed HBONow support and got this reply:

"Your Account was flagged and services stopped for accessing the HBO stream outside of the approved and licensed viewing area. If you believe this occurred in error, please provide an explanation along with your home address and phone number. If your response meets the required criteria, your services will be restored within 2 – 3 business days"

I have only used HBO Now at home.

I was able to reset my IPhone as WavePeriod suggested, and it looks like I can get video on my phone. Don't know how to "reset" my laptop network. And haven't been ready to go through the work on the TV, since it means reloading every password.

I was able to watch HBO now from work today, but that's a different ISP that I have at home. I had a long conversation with TWC technical support, and they assure me that my IP address is our valid and in the US. They say that it is likely that HBO now is misinterpreting the IP address. The only problem is, I cannot get a hold of anyone at HBO now support.

Hi there! I'm in Orange too, and this started happening to me abourt 3 days ago. Have you found a solution?

I didn't hear back from HBO support, but mine is now working on iphone, appleTV and Laptop. Not sure if it's and individual solution (since I wrote them) or a universal solution for Orange and North Carolina.

i got an email from HBO Now that there technical team figured out what was happening and fixed it. So far, so good.
