apple tv replaying channel content with sound, black screen, then freezing

I have an Apple TV 2nd. generation. When I bring up the CBS NEWS channel, and after watching 1 to 3 videos, the screen goes black and it replays the last video with sound only. After this completes, the system freezes. Problem only started recently (maybe a month ago) and happens consistently. Restarting the Apple TV does not fix it, although it will allow me to view another 1-3 videos. Restoring the Apple TV to factory setting did not fix it either.

Anyone else have this problem and/or suggest a fix? I cannot find anything on the internet speaking to this issue and I do suspect the CBS channel. The only other channels I view are ESPN, PBS and Movie trailers, and have not seen the same problem yet. Thank you for any thoughts.
