Internet accounts nor iCloud accounts cannot load

in Maverick 10.10.3, I cannot load either Internet Accounts nor iCloud accounts on my iMac 27. I kept getting a message to supply a password for my Google Accounts which I kept trying to do. But I could not get into Internet Accounts to add the password for the Google Account. Finally I turned off Google on my Mail app. That message went away but I still cannot access Internet Accounts nor iCloud accounts. Been using Macs for 29 years and Apples for 34 so know a bit about them, but have not encountered this event till now that I recall. Thanks for any help you might provide.
