I have over 1600 photos in the Photos app. Why do only 29 photos show up on Apple TV?

I have over 1600 photos in the Photos app. Why do only 29 photos show up on Apple TV? Home Sharing is on. The photos show up on my iPad and my Macbook. Any help I can get would be great.
