Q: Photos does not publish its library to Apple Mail and Final Cut Pro X

Problems:

  1. When I am in a new e-mail and click the " Show or hide the photo browser" button, I get an empty frame.
  2. When I open the Photos-library in FCPX, not photos are shown.

I removed iPhoto completely from my Mac after switching to Photos. Also I removed the iPhoto Library, after moving all photos to two new Photos libraries (one called "Photos Library", one called "Photos Archive Library"). The "Photos Library" is my systems library.

I did attempt one repair as listed here. Because this was also a registration problem. However, it did not resolve my problem.

Suggestion welcome!

PS The workaround is of course to open Photo's, and "Share selected photos" to Apple Mail

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.6.7)
