connect with hdmi without using thunderbolt

I have a 2014 macbook air. I'm trying to figure out how to connect it to my hdtv, without using the thunderbolt port. I'm using the thunderbolt port to connect the air to the internet using an ethernet cable for faster speed. what kind of adapter can i buy to connect it using my hdmi cable, using the port on the left side? (the more rectangle port with the three lines?)
