I cannot get iWork and iLife for free after restoring and changing Apple ID.

I've just bought iPhone 6 plus and at first I used my friend's Apple ID to log in while I was waiting for mine to update the VISA. However, after I restored and changed Apple ID, iWork and iLife were not free for this iPhone anymore. What should I do to get them back using my Apple ID.
