problem sending emails via outlook

I am using Outlook 2013 with the icloud integration for my emails on both my Windows 8.1 home computer and Windows 8.1 laptop.

About 4 days ago I found that I was unable to receive email but not send any. I keep on getting prompted for a password and when I entry the password I get prompted again.

I have uninstalled both the outlook and the icloud control panel and reinstalled from scratch and still have the same problem.

I have also turned off my firewall to make sure that there is no restriction from that preventing the sending of the email.

I have the same issue with my laptop.

Is anyone else experiencing this problem?

For whatever reasons, something changed recently. I was able to fix it by changing my incoming and outgoing mail servers.

Make sure they are as follows:

Incoming Server name: imap.mail.me.com

Outgoing Server name: smtp.mail.me.com

I had something in there like P09-imap.mail.me.com (or close to that). The above fixed it.

no help doing this. I'm on the phone with AppleCare and we will see what they can come up with. Thanks anyway.
