How do I divide a singular cell in Pages?

I am in Pages and trying to divide a single cell into two rows.

How do I divide a single cell? I don't want the whole row dividing.

This can be done in Microsoft Word and i am sure it must be possible in Pages.

Can anyone help?

I figured it out . . . . we have to create an extra row and merge the cells that are not required to be extra row.

I must be too simple in thoughts, i didn't realise i would have to do it the long way round.
