game center request name starts with period dot

I accepted a friend request whose name began with a dot: ".xxxx" , but it did not show up in friend list. I can't see it anywhere.

I didn't recognize the name, so I don't know who it is. There's no way to research identities beforehand through game center. Thought i could unfriend after.

Am I hacked?
