Deleted playlists returning

Every time I delete a playlist from iTunes on my iMac it seems to return. I've tried to turn off iTunes Match on both my iPad and iPhone after deleting the unwanted playlists from my iMac, but after restarting they are reinstated from somewhere on all three products. I can't find what is causing this problem and it is frustrating.

Can anyone suggest a solution?
