How do I connect my iphoto library from my external drive?
FCP will not recognize my Iphoto library, unable to select, greyed out. Any options? Thanks

WWhere are you trying to select it? Is your iPhoto library in your Photos folder.

The Iphoto library is on my external drive as always. Since the recent upgrade, I am unable to direct to the library when editing in fcp as before.
IS there an alias for it in the Photos folder?
I do not see a "photos" folder. Just Pictures. The two libraries in the "pictures" folder are redundant, and refer to the empty iphoto library on my HD.
Sorry I meant Pictures folder not Photos.
I don't understand what your message means. Does FCP not see the iPhoto library in Pictures?
I think I figured it out. I went to Iphoto prefs and selected, "use a system photo library". the library is now available in FCP. I can toggle between libraries by OPTION>select library.
