Already-activated iPad prompting for activation.
My wife's iPad just prompted her to activate it, although it has been activated for more than 7 months. It has been activated for months. It said it was already registered to someone with the Apple ID [first initial of my wife's apple id]****[end of my wife's Apple ID]--i.e., hers. No idea why it would do this. I was reluctant to put in a password in case it was some kind of malware. Ultimately we put the password in and it worked fine.
But why should it suddenly prompt us to do this?
Model is "Apple iPad Air 2" MH312LL/A
