How to fix "sleep wake failure experienced a problem?"
MacBook Air (13-inch, Early 2014)
Processor 1.4 GHz intel core i5
Memory 8GB 1600 MHz DDR3
OS X 10.10.3
Ever since I bought this computer in October last year I've been having the same problem. If I leave my computer on for more than a few hours in sleep mode (for example if I leave it on over night), when I try to wake it up it has turned itself off and I cannot turn it on unless I plug it into a power source. Sometimes it will turn itself back on (while in sleep mode) but when I open the screen a note will pop up saying "Sleep Wake Failure experienced a problem", and usually the airport signal in the top right hand corner is unavailable and it has a grey X through it. I cannot turn the airport wifi signal back on unless I restart my computer.
I have phoned Apple support and they suggested I leave it in Safe mode over night, which I did do, and then the same thing happened while in safe mode. I haven't taken it into the store yet because I live 2 hours away from the city and need my computer for work. They said they would need to keep it for two days. I am hoping to resolve this on my own. Please does anybody know how to solve this? Thank you.
