Problems uploading from iMovie 11 to Youtube

I have looked through the threads here and this problem seems to have been going on for a few years and there have been no solutions posted.

I last posted from iMovie11 directly to my YouTube account using the "share" option this past winter. I am trying to do the same now and it says my username or password are incorrect. I have changed my password and tried again, multiple times, but still the same problem.

Is this function now defunct?

I am running iMovie11 v. 9.0.4 so the most up to date version of that software.

I REALLY do not want to have to export and then import to YouTube (which is the obvious workaround). I have 92 short videos to upload from a recital.
