Using iWork with iCloud Drive
iWork for Mac- Importing and exporting iWork '09 documents

You can upload your document to Pages on your @iCloud.com site and try editing there.

You have two versions of Pages on your Mac.

You created your document in Pages 5.x and are now opening it with Pages '09.

Right click on the document and choose to open it with Pages 5.5.3 if that is what you have.
