If I downgrade my storage plan will I lose everything thats already in iCloud?

Hi guys I'm currently on the 200GB plan but all of my stuff on iCloud comes to under 20GB therefore I want to downgrade to the 20GB plan. But before I do I need to know whether by downgrading I will lose everything on there and have to upload everything into iCloud again or will everything stay as it is and the only difference will be that I don't have as much free space? It took a really long time to get all my files onto iCloud so I just want to make sure that I won't have to upload everything onto iCloud again. Thanks!

Not as long as you have enough space for all that is stored now. Be aware there is no guarantee of the safety of cloud-stored files. It's a major error to delete those files from your computer or from some other local storage device/backup.
