Bbecause you're logging in to the iCloud Beta website. Go to the iCloud.com webpage and login there.
I am doing that I am signing in into this iCloud webpage: "iCloud.com".
And there is a beta webpage of iCloud? interesting.
But I don't think I am logging in the beta webpage
The iWorks apps on iCloud.com are all currently still on Beta. There are no full final releases yet for them.
There is no such thing as a Beta iCloud site.

icloudofficial-dot-com us not the real icloud site, and you should not be logging into it with your Apple Id at all. Very dangerous.
iCloud.com is the official website for iCloud.

I'm really not having a good day today, but at least I'm not going crazy. There was an iCloud Beta site for iWork. It ended its beta status only in Febuary of this year. That's what I mis-remembered - it's the website that exited beta phase, not the applications.
