May 25, 2015 3:41 PM in response to ppithermoby etresoft,Hi ppithermo,
Can you verify that you are signed into iCloud? iCloud is a bit flaky, so it might be a good idea to sign out and back in. Another trick with any Apple product is to "prime the pump". Make sure you have iCloud e-mail configured and try Maildrop there. Once it works with iCloud, you can try it with a non-iCloud account.

Thanks. That does not do it.
Yes I was signed in.

No matter what account i use it does not work.
I do not have an icloud.com account. never had.
This thing worked and it no longer does.
Thanks anyway.

OK. I tried with an iCloud account and it does work.

I used that without an iCloud account and it worked perfectly.
I did show peopel who did not have 10.10 how they could download large documents by using th elink provided.
it no longer works.
How can we get apple to fix this??

Not sure whether this is a temporary bug or a deliberate restriction.

I heard that too. I wasn't sure where I heard it, so I didn't want to repeat it.
