How do you drap and drop photos from one date file to another in the photos tab???? Use to be able to do this a few months ago until the ...um.. so called "upgrade"?

How do you move photos from one May 5, 2015 to another May 5, 2015 so that they are not in two unnecessary files? I could at least before do the "create event"?? What happened to that? I don't want to go through all my photos again and do this. Sigh. Where did my album titles go as well? They just say the date now. It is all messed up. Anyone having similar issues?
