Locked out of my own iMac

I loaned one of my imacs to a friend you who changed the admin and primary user passwords. She has now left the city and cannot be found. I now have a computer that i can get into as a guest but cannot do much like upgrade or update and so on. It never came with install discs... Have can i change the setting to regain control of my computer? Anyone? Bueller?

If the iMac had Snow Leopard or earlier installed, then it came with software restore discs. You can contact Apple about purchasing replacements:
