Why isnt my screen turning back on?

Iphone 5c , iOs 8.3 . The problem with my phone is that my screen was acting strange it kept turning off and on and now i shut it down now it isn't turning on . I've tried Holding the home button for 10 to 15 seconds and plugging it back to my charger but yet nothing happened.
