Magnifying glass oriented incorrectly

Hello there. The below-image was captured while using Pages on an iPhone 6, iOS 8.3. Happily a majority of the time it's oriented correctly but sometimes it does what you see below. Any thoughts on what I'm doing to make this happen, and how to keep it from happening?
