How do I transfer purchased itunes to other folders on my ipod? I used to be able to do this.

I have purchased some tunes from the istore and they appear on my ipod device under the Purchased folder. However, I cannot move them / copy them to other folders on the ipod. Either I have forgotten how to do this or some aspect of the software has changed. Thanks
